Our passion makes us belief that we can make a difference to this world. We come across so many inspiring people, people who motivated us to do better, to serve more, and to reach out to more people in need. This fuels our desire to serve more.
Established in April 18th 2013, Aakanksha Foundation is a registered voluntary, not-for-profit and non-government organization that is involved in development, relief and advocacy activities for a better society.
One of the characteristics that make us unique, as an organization is our limitless vision and boundless compassion. We have undertaken every project which we felt can make a difference in the life of an individual or a community; right from Old Age Homes to Orphanages, Child Education to School Adoption, and Disaster Management to Blood Donation Camps. Women and children are the backbone of our society. Constructive work among women and children is a primary and essential requirement for the process of nation building and hence special focus on Girl Child and helpless women.
We are grateful to our supporters, as their donations made possible to reach the poor and needy people through emergency relief programs. Thanks to growing community support, we were also able to tackle child education and special focus on Girl Child Education from the extreme poverty areas.
We at Aakanksha Foundation take care of Old age homes, Orphanages, assist homeless through community programs, Distribution of Stationery, Cloths, Grocery, Medicines etc.,. We involve College students for various charitable events as a part of Social Responsibility Programs.

We at Aakanksha Foundation believe that what we are doing is not charity, not out of just sympathy, but it is our responsibility.
