Child Education
Importance of education tells us the value of education in our life. Education means a lot in everyone's life as it facilitates our learning, knowledge and skill. It completely changes our mind and personality and helps us to attain the positive attitudes. We must give importance to the education than other targets in life as it is the only source of real happiness in our life.
Children in poverty make up thirty-nine percent of the population, and most of these children do not receive a good education because their parents cannot afford to send them to anything but a public school. The children in India, who are below poverty line, are especially vulnerable among low-income children because they do not have the support structures that other children normally have.
What We Do
We at Aakanksha Foundation, deal with the children who are insensitive, untrained, and not motivated to discharge their duties effectively and with diligence. Our experienced volunteers of our foundation, takes care about the welfare of the underprivileged children in the society, especially on the welfare of the Slum children, Handicapped (differently abled) and destitute.In the process of learning and knowing, they will become better citizens by getting good education and a secured life.
Education is a fundamental right, but due to the sheer pressure on the public education system and the inability to afford expensive private school education, we at Aakanksha Foundation has adopted a Government School in association with Lion's Club of Hyderabad Capital and also one tailoring School for Girl Child especially for the slums of Hyderabad.
We are also starting a joint program with Pedal India Foundation and Lion's Club of Hyderabad Capital to work in Anganwadi centres which will cater to more than 1500 children in all the mandals of Hyderabad District and Wanaparthy District.
