Home for the Aged
Foundation is a registered NGO (Non-profit organization) based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The main focus is on providing Care and Support to the Old Aged people.
An old age home is usually a place, a home for those old people who have no one to look after them or those who have been thrown out of their homes by their children. The place is of course like home where the inmates get all the facilities for a routine living, like food, clothing, and shelter.All these necessities are well looked after but, the much-needed love, and care of loved ones is of course sadly missing.
While working on several projects, we came across many homes for the aged and visited several old aged citizens in different old age homes and observed that there are many old age homes where there are no proper facilities available to them. In these homes, it is very interesting and even touching to talk to people whether they are men or women.That is when we decided to start a program that fulfills the requirements of the old aged citizens. In support from Pedal India Foundation, Lions Club of Hyderabad Capital, and other donors, we successfully started off with our program to support all under privileged old aged homes.
What we do
We, on behalf of our foundation, personally visit each single home for the aged andrender different services what they are in need off. The beneficiaries of this project belong to the lowest curtail of the society and are hardly able to get all facilities.
Apart from providing groceries, cloths and other requirementsto them, we ensure, they are properly taken care of with adequate medical facilities,exclusively in the areas of Diabetic and Eye care and also by extending them moral support.
What you can do
